Zhejiang Seaport Bulk Commodity Exchange Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ZHGCE”) is a bulk commodity spot trading platform built by the leading party Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group Co. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhejiang Seaport Group”) and ICBC and Nanhua Futures jointly according to the instruction spirits of building Zhoushan River-and-Sea Coordinated Transport Service Center, and establishing a global first-class bulk-commodity warehousing, transportation, trading and processing base. ZHGCE was registered in China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province) with the registered capital of RMB 300 million Yuan, and its controlling shareholder is Zhejiang Seaport Group.

ZHGCE is mainly dependent on the advantages of bulk commodity logistics distribution of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, combines with the policy boon of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone to promote the free trade of bulk commodities, starts from the financial services of bulk commodity supply chain, and takes warehousing supervision, warehouse receipts registration custody, liquidation, clearing, information quotation and other functions as the basic business platform. Based on that, ZHGCE provides credit management services and spot trading services for the market; moreover, supported by credit management services of the platform, as well as warehousing, logistics, bank, insurance, futures companies and other external institutions to provide corresponding financial services for platform customers.

The on-line product in the first phase is iron ore, and the follow-up products will be the bulk commodities of port trade in the Yangtze River Delta region including non-ferrous metals, oil, chemicals, agricultural products, etc.
